If Your Dog Has Arthritis…

Get ArthroIonx - the all-natural mineral supplement that heals while it alleviates the pain.

Our dog couldn't even get up on his favorite chair before I found this product - and now, 2 years later, he runs and plays like a pup.

Tell us something good about Priest River!

This blog and website: www.priest-river-idaho.com is all about the reasons why we choose Priest River as our home above all other places. Or why we want to come back.

Yes, it has it’s faults. But faults and problems are not what this site is about.

Instead, it’s about what’s going on here, about fond memories, and even about the small daily events that keep life interesting, and fun. Things like your cow having twins or witnessing the birth of a moose in your front yard. Things like kindnesses done and friends reunited.

All that is part of the fabric of life – the good part.

With that in mind, I’m not going to approve any negative comments – even if I happen to agree with them. We’re here as a community and need to raise each other up, not knock each other down. So put a positive twist on your comments – if you really hate one gas station, tell us how good the other one is instead of knocking the one you don’t like.

I’d love to hear from you. And I’ll bet plenty of other people would like to hear, too.

Tell us about new projects and events coming up.

Let the world know about your musical group and give us a link to listen to you.

Announce when your kids will be home from college or the military so their friends can call or stop by. For that matter, you can tell us about friends and family who have moved away but will be here for a visit. If you want to share it here, include your email address so past friends can get in touch and arrange to meet.

Tell us about new businesses starting up, or old ones changing hands.

In other words, share your news!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Marte

Community Service is alive and well in Priest River.

The Happy Agers at the PR Senior Center are hosting a sit down “all the trimmings Thanksgiving Dinner” on Friday November 14th, and it’s free!

President Fred Charland and his crew of dedicated helpers will be on hand to deliver up delicious turkey, ham, stuffing and more to our community. Our very own, Asphalt Angels will be delivering meals to shut in’s starting at 4:00.

Stop by and see what the Happy Agers are doing, and how they are giving back to our community. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age.

Priest River is agreat place to live in fact any where in this area is great.

The people are always smiling and friendly, although you get a few rich people from around that come in this area and think just cause they got money they can just buy there way here.

Its a shame we are loosing are farms and land to builders and other business.

I know it will get worse but untill then Im going enjoy the livestyle of country living as I know it. So lets remember the farmers and how they made this area the best ever.

This town is great. I moved here from the Seattle area 38 years ago, and this is home and always will be. The people are friendly and help those in need.
Being a volunteer for Priest River Animal Rescue has shown me the generosity of people that call this home. We see people come in that are far from being rich monetarily, but rich in heart and they are usually the most generous donors to our organization.
PRAR is trying to purchase property for a “new” shelter (some may remember it as the Selkirk Motel) and we have people coming in to donate to our “building fund” almost every day. Or people donating valuable items to be sold in our Thrift Store “Critters, etc”.

We moved here four years ago after getting out of the military. My husband and I grew up in Spokane and came up here for camping vacations as kids. Now we’re raising our six boys in the country south of Priest River. We are so grateful to live in this beautiful place!

We look forward to getting more involved in this community.
