I’m not ready for this! And from what I saw on my way to and from town today, a whole lot of other people aren’t ready either.

I lost count of two things: the number of pickups (hunters) pulled off into side roads and wide spots, and the number of tire marks in the snow where people had gone off the road. Maybe they thought because it isn’t very deep yet, it doesn’t count?

On the hills, the tracks waving all over the road before leading into the ditch really made me wonder how fast those folks were going when they realized that snow is slippery!

Guess it wasn’t just here – this morning’s newspaper was full of reports of highway wrecks. Unfortunately, some of them fatal.

Slow down – watch out for drivers who don’t – be safe!
