Seems kinda soon for Santa, but Christmas really is right around the corner, and I suppose that once it gets closer to the big day, he’ll need to stay at the North Pole to supervise loading his sleigh.

Here’s where you’ll find Santa in the next few weeks:

Saturday, November 29: Hometown Christmas Centennial Plaza, Newport, WA, 10 a.m

Monday, December 1: The Priest River Inn (formerly River Pigs) from 3 to 7 p.m. I’m guessing this is the Priest River Chamber of Commerce’s annual event: Christmas on Main Street.

Saturday, December 6: Stratton Elementary School in Newport from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, December 13: The Pooch Parlor in Oldtown. This is the annual Santa Picture event sponsored by the Newport Priest River Rotary – the one where you can have your pooch’s photo taken with Santa, as well as your own. Call 208-437-0503 for a reservation

Sunday, December 14: Ben Franklin in Oldtown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – another Rotary picture taking event!

Now… if there are other times and places, please let us know.
