The Sandpoint Bypass Project
This evening I decided to check out Sandpoint Realtor Rick Evan’s blog on Active Rain. I’m glad I did, because his latest post included a link to aerial photos of the Sandpoint bypass project.

In spite of seeing the maps over the years, I didn’t really have a feel for how that road would lay. Seeing [...]

Unseasonably Hot in Priest River
Since when is it this hot in mid-September?
I read on the Q-6 weather report that Priest River set a new record this week with an “official” reading of 88 degrees. But someone told me a reader board in town said 92.
Even this morning’s heavy rain turned to heat by mid afternoon.

A Wonderful Night to be Inside!
Whew! We went to Sandpoint today and I’m sure glad we got back early. The road was terrible and the wind and snow up there were biting. Thank God for hot tubs that warm bones.
There was only about 3″ of new snow when we got home, but now— must be about 9 or 10 and [...]

Wow – Free Audio Books to Download!
I just visited the West Bonner Library website to renew a book that’s due today – and I found a service I didn’t know they had.
We can now download audio books – for free. The database is large, so I expect there’s something there for everyone.
