But don't forget that each person who takes the risk of opening his or her own business (people like YOU) are creating their own jobs, and even if the business is small, hiring a person or two. I have long thought that Priest River business people needed to join forces and do things that would cause the tourists passing through to drop some money here... When I was active in Chamber I talked about it a lot, but my ideas fell on deaf ears. However, I still think it's something that would work. I have lots of low-cost / high income ideas gained from travel and seeing what other communities have done. But... can't do them alone. But clean, and beauty isnt bringing in the real jobs, all were getting in Priest River is more and more coffee shops wine joints, and second hand stores. How many do we need. Why not try to bring in real paying jobs, that pay families enough to put food on the table and buy homes, and send the kids to school.
